With 4+ POVs, and ridiculously short chapters, this book is hard to really get into.  The world building is borderline non-existent, and although the book attempts to delve in to many serious themes and discussions (feminism, dementia in a loved one, sexual assault, and familial expectations to name a few), it accomplishes very little, ultimately feeling like it was written by a middle-schooler in terms of depth and comprehension of these issues.

Absolutely loved it! The characters got their own story and the writer articulated it well. However it was sometimes difficult to switch between the different point of views but I got used to it. The story was good and interesting!

Honestly it was all there, but a difficult one to read for me. I was really looking forward to reading this but found it difficult to read more than 1 chapter at a time and I did get bored and that may just be the writing style.

After trying to get through nearly half of this book I a putting it down as a dnf. I think the story has potential but personally I had a hard time connecting to the characters and book because of the way the book is structured. It was too choppy for me.

I think if I was reading this any other way, this possibly could have been a DNF, HOWEVER I was reading this over a few months on my break at work, so an hour a week.

It's very choppy which if you're sitting down and reading it at length can get confusing and annoying. The chapter start and endings didn't always make sense. The actual story building up towards the end was very slow. Realistically, not a lot happens until the last chapter or so.

The last chapter was definitely the best, it was well written and action packed which is why this is rated 2 stars.
