Renee Foster, according to her husband had no family and no friends so where has she disappeared to. So can Jeri Howard, P.I. find her. And who is Renee Foster.
An enjoyable, well-written mystery though I did work out the twist. I shall look out for the next in the series.

A fun and functional entry into the genre of female private investigators, with lots of super Bay Area detailing, that's let down in the middle by pacing gone awry, and shoehorning in a romance where it didn't remotely need to be. But I don't enjoy Jeri enough as a character, nor the writing style enough to go on with the series.

Spoiler(To be clear: the romance with Mark worked and was hot, but the Sid thing came from wicked far out of left field.)
