I honestly didn't think I would enjoy this book as much as I actually did. The beginning was a little slow, but after certain events occur it picks up considerably. The author thoroughly develops the world and any questions I normally would've had that could shake it down were answered. Definitely recommend reading.

This book bored me.
And if you know me and the books i like, you know that i love ya dystopian books. I read a lot of brillinat ones (the hunger games...). I read a lot of objectively awful ones (looking at you, divirgent...)
But i rarely find myself bored to death by them. when talking about ya dystopian books, im willing to ingnore a lot. I can suspend my disbelief for a long time. So the fact that i couldnt get into flawed AT ALL i feel says a lot about this book.

This book was better than I expected. I want to read the second book now when I wasn’t sure if I’d continue the series. It definitely makes you think more about your flaws and what makes someone “flawed”. It’s an interesting dystopian novel.

It's so good. I feel a deep connection with how this girl think how this girl doing things. The character is strong, struggling so much to live in cruel world.
Celestine is perfect, have a perfect family, perfect boyfriend, perfect life. She knows Judge Crevan, her father boyfriend, whose making other people scared, except her. Judge Crevan is so good to her, she can't understand why people make so much fuss about him while he's just another human being.
But she's doing something flawed in the eyes of Guild. So she's being punished. The punished in flawed world is a burn brand in your body depend on what you've done wrong. You won't believe what Celestine get. Life is cruel but Celestine try to live the new life she get. Until everything isn't make sense anymore. Until the Guild is trying to wreck her life.

This book will make you think about what it really means to be human and what perfection is. I did not want to put this book down as I was reading. There were a few scenes where the descriptions were very intense and I had to stop for a bit, but overall this was a great book. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out what it means to be a person of this earth. I look forward to the next book.

I have started this review about three times and I just can't decide what I really feel about the story. On one hand I sat up until 3.30am to finish because there was something that I can't quite put my finger on that just kept me reading. However, on the other hand, I found the main character just so annoying. I found idea of the story intriguing and it had great potential yet I feel it just wasn't executed all that well.
