Yes, I admit, a couple volumes ago, I was ready to punt and call myself “done” with this series. Volume 22 had me intrigued again; this volume has me hooked again. Very excited to see where things head in the next edition.

This continues to follow the group as they try to get on with their lives. Only, there’s a new threat. People that are walking around with zombie skin sewn together like suits.Other things are going on too like Carl settling in at Hilltop and reuniting with Sophia which is quite sweet.
I like that this volume focused a lot on Maggie and her role as leader of Hilltop (and the problems that come with it). It’s a nice change of scenery from dealing with Rick.

It's been a while since I've read this series and had to go back a couple of issues to refresh so here I am. I've come to the fact that I have to let my expectations in order to enjoy this comic series and so whatever. This storyline piqued my interest back when it was first introduced so here goes nothing.

I started reading the comics after I had watched the show, and while they were quite similar, the show definitely takes some liberties, the same thing will happen, but maybe to a different character, or in a different timeline.
I stopped watching the show a long time ago, but I would still be interested in finishing the comics.
I definitely enjoyed the comic more than the show, the show was often slow, while the comics are fast paced and a really easy read.

I was happy to learn more about the new group. The members of this group are very intriguing and have a very different view of life than we are used to with the previous groups. This book highlights Carl's life, it's not the best comic I've read, but it's not the worst either. There was not much action going on so there were some lengths.

Les membres de ce groupe sont très intriguant et on une vision de la vie très différente de celle auxquels nous sommes habitués avec les groupes précédent. Ce livre met en évidence la vie de Carl, ce n'est pas la meilleure bd que j'ai lu, mais ce n'est pas la pire non plus. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'action se qui faisait en sorte qu'il y avait certaines longueurs.
