Starts out solid, but falls apart due to the accumulation of numerous faults - the major ones being some outright implausible psychic abilities in what is ostensibly hard SF, some embarrassingly adolescent sexual content, and a failure to acknowledge that using special powers to coerce women into having sex with you that they would not otherwise have consented to is rape. I like the ideas in this book. I like the set up and parts of the execution. I felt it dragged a bit toward the end, it tried to be a thriller but I wasn't.
