I would die for Parker!!! That poor soul suffered so much and finally found something to look forward to and it was taken away!!! I'll need some time to recover.
Also ms. Barbetti, pardon my ignorance but why build a story for all of Everetts scars and not explain them? All of those scars on forearms can not be only from needles!! I need answers!

This book is a roller coaster for sure. In the beginning, I was apprehensive at best. The characters weren't likable. In my opinion, the chemistry just wasn't there, and I didn't understand why they would continue on the way they did when they seemingly just didn't get along. I continued on because I don't DNF books and boy oh boy it did not disappoint. By the end of the book, I was in love with the characters and their story. I wish I had more time to experience them. Another thing I wish we had was more back story into each of them. There is some, and the lack of it doesn't in any way detract from the story, but I think with more earlier on it could have helped readers connect more to them individually to understand the underlying connection they had. It is not often I start a book not wanting to finish and end up finishing it sobbing, but this one did that to me.

Okay, so the blurb was quite intriguing but because I had so many other books to read, this was put on the back burner. Hmmm...what can I say! I really felt for the characters of Everett and Parker. Both of their stories were sad but Parker had let what happened to her to rule how she lived her life; without feeling anything. Their story had me dreading the ending because I knew Parker would not be able to function without Everett...I would not be able to bear it since he taught her how to live.

I wish this book was told in dual perspectives. I wish we got how Everett was feeling about Parker and about his whole situation. It would have made this book THAT much more better.

I liked it ok. I loved Everett but didn't connect to Parker at all.
I didn't like the beginning of the book - before they went on their road trip - because Parker was repetitive in her inner thoughts and feelings.

The other thing I really didn't like was all the part with Mira in Colorado. It felt off. It didn't belong in this story. So Mira called Parker to come to Colorado and she asked her to do something dangerous, and Parker didn't even think 5 seconds about it and did it... None explanations whatsoever.

The book remind me of "The Edge Of Never" by J. A. Redmerski and it's one of my favorite books ever. So maybe I didn't appreciate "Ten Below Zero" because I already read that kind of story in a more intense and emotional way. I dunno.

I love this book. It is such a gorgeous, healing and heartbreaking story. I loved Everett and Parker. Everett is rude and straightforward. He doesn't lie to spare people's feelings. He's dying but he's still living. Parker is closed off, refusing to have feelings for anyone or about anything. She's been through something awful and is closed down. Parker answers a wrong text and ends up meeting Everett. There chemistry these characters have together is amazing. I love the connection they have. Also, the sex scenes were pretty steamy. I really loved this book, it is a top favorite of 2014 and I highly recommend it!
