Absolutely in love with this story. My favorite tropes in one place. It could've been a bit shorter though but that aside chef's kiss.

This book is a rare instance where I had to change my rating a few weeks after reading the book. I still think about this book months after reading, so I had to increase my rating.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed and relatable. Even though you want to hate Phoenix throughout the book, you can't help but realize how damaged he is and how that effects his actions. You sympathize with Lennon through the trials and tribulations but still want her to forgive.

I suggest looking into triggers before diving in if that applies to you.
