Now That You Mention It by Kristan Higgins

Too sad. Hard to follow the story as there were so many references to unrelated stories. It’s frustrating to read a book that continuously references something you don’t know about so that it’s a “big reveal” later. Just tell us so we know what you’re talking about!

Kristan Higgins and Xe Sands have made another lifelong fan.
I didn't realize how much I would enjoy the cozier "slice-of-life" book until I read my first Higgins book. And she's SO. FUNNY. She captures the absurdity and irony of everyday life, like a good rom-com movie.
And Sands (voice artist for the audiobook). It's as if she and Higgins were made for each other. Her voice is mellow with still such rich inflection, she really brings Higgins female lead characters to life.

I cannot say enough about this book.  It pulled me in from beginning to the end.  This story is so well-written and interesting. Excellent character development and storyline.

A truly heartwarming story of healing childhood trauma and proving that you can go home again.
