What a beautifully heartbreaking, yet achingly hopeful book.

THIS IS A BIG FAT 5 STAR BOOK! I read more than 500 pages in less than a day.  I fell totally in love with the main character. the band of the main character and his brother really reminds me of the band I have with my brother. Especially the bed is boat stories made me share a happy tear. I love the love story I really felt the chemistry between the character and it was written with a really good balance of their love and the story around it. The church stuff was believable had a great line in the questioning of the belief.  and the drawing style is beautiful I will not promise to not color them in. the snow is beautiful and the comic storytelling adds to the beauty of this story. I love that there are characters with disabilities. maybe they could have been more outspoken about it but it was great that there was not a big fixing the disability storyline attached to the characters.  I would say start reading now
