I can not express the joy this book brought. Read it years ago as a little girl and it just brought me right back! I love Paelen so much! Absolute crushing on him, though Joel is cool too. My heart is happy.

Stopped reading aroung page 227.
Its just not a very engaging book. I started skimming it from the very first chapter. I just dont see the point in reading something that I can't be invested in.
It could be a very interesting concept, except its just too slow. It might have worked better as a short story maybe?

What would you do if you heard a crash on your roof during one of the most craziest storms in history? Probably not go check it out. Emily, one the other hand, did. And on that roof was what was supposed to be a myth. Pegasus.

This book is seriously underrated. It is just perfection. It leaves you on a cliffhanger but not a cliffhanger. It ends the book just right and leaves you wanting the sequel. This is the perfect book for Percy Jackson fans and Rick Riordan even has a recommendation for it.

You can very easily get into the book. It has helped me get through multiple reading slumps. As you continue reading you just fall in love with the characters. I use to have problems reading Paelen’s POV but now that I am older, I fell like I can relate to him in a way I couldn’t before.

So in conclusion, definitely add this to your TBR or go buy it now. You won’t regret it.

I again was not the target audience for this, it's definitely written
at a 3rd grade level but I am a sucker for silly Greek/Roman
mythology based fiction Gi
for what it was good! it was higher stakes than I was expecting
from a kids book!
t's about a Pegasus who crash lands on a girl's apartment roof ir
VYC and then the government it hunting them and takes them
into custody to torture answers out of them
it wound up being pretty ok! the author used mostly Roman terms
for the Gods but had a lot of the Greek specific pieces of
mythology in it which was odd but also not noticeable to anyone
who isn't a freak

I couldn't get into this one. I gave it a good go and it wasn't thrilling enough for me to keep going. There's nothing wrong with the writing, I just wasn't invested in the characters and didn't feel the need to go on to find out what happens next.
