Feels like an old friend ..... reading a Roy Grace novel. #13 in the series and every bit as good as the last ones, maybe even better. Finished it in one day....already missing it.

I am tired of this series now so it was good to finish my stint with a good one. Formulaic of course, but why change it if it works? I must add that I don't like the way the Bruno storyline is going although it is a good plot idea.

Suspenseful police procedural with an unexpected ending. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more in this series.

Liked the twisted loyalties of the team playing against two murder strands, past and present. The denouement felt quite clear to me early one but clever how the story unravelled.
Loving these professionals the police access - forensic podiatrist, superlearners...Obviously the days of profiling are long dead!
Addicted to this series so now plan to launch into #14

I always love a Roy Grace novel.

Twists and turns and very well written.
