A simple story about a boy who finally finds value in his individuality.

My final thoughts:

Via Black 'n Write Reviews

This was not a favorite read, and I'll tell you why:

I did not understand the message.

Is this a book that proclaims being an only child is better than a child with siblings?
Being your own person happens most often when you don't have siblings?
Maybe I'm being a tad vague, but I wasn't overly impressed. I did like the illustrations, mind you.

If you've read this story with your littles, I'd love to know what you thought of it.

Fun prose. Monkey Butter Chocolate Chip. Bookended.

Type - Colwell Roman - fun choice, went with the illustrations well.

Gouache? No. Digital. Too many patterns and lines in hair are definite digital brush strokes.
