I really loved Jennette’s ability to turn such dark content into something humorous. I hate that she went through that.

The book is very dark. I would not recommend it for people who suffers with eating disorders or who has suffered any form of abuse. She is very descriptive about her anorexia and bulimia. The book also mentions verbal, physical and sexual abuse, as well as drugs and alcohol abuse.

It was an interesting reading though

I loved the short chapters that brought little snippets of Jennette’s life…my children used to watch icarly and Sam & Kat, you’d have no idea she was walking through what she explains in this book.
Her writing style is very readable and I loved that I got to listen to Jenette herself read on the audiobook.
There are some moments of potential over share, but then I guess she choose to share such information and for a reason, so that we could truly understand her pain in the moment.
Amazing yet sad read.
