Literally one of the most honest, well-written, gutting, and captivating books I've ever read. I wasn't even a Jennette McCurdy fan when I first picked up her memior, but I have never felt more seen than reading this book. It's incredibly engrossing, deeply distressing, and just genuinely raw. I listened to it on audio, then reread it myself because it captured experiences and emotions I have felt my whole life but never been able to put into words. I love her, and I think this book healed a part of me.

It’s heartbreaking to realize that someone you admired as a child was dealing with their own struggles and trauma. Regardless of how successful a person appears, you can never truly know what their life is like behind the scenes. We’re all human, no matter our status.
