I had never previously heard anything about this book and I'm fairly certain I've never picked up another book by this author, but this one definitely left me wanting to seek out more of her work. There are a number of things about it that could potentially be triggering so that is something to be aware of, but the story grabbed me from the first page and I never did manage to figure out exactly how it was going to end. I didn't necessarily LIKE any of the characters, but they were very well written and I couldn't wait to see how it all unfolded. I definitely recommend this for anyone who's interested in ensemble thrillers.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. For whatever reason I didn’t have high expectations for it but it turned out to be a great thriller.
It was decently paced and I was intrigued early on. The ending took me by surprise. Reflecting on it I’m a little surprised that it did (I’m not upset about it).
