This was an excellent sequel. Things don't always go as you plan them and happily ever after doesn't exist, I really liked that she showed the complexity of the human experience and perspective.

I will read this eventually but I don't think the audiobook is the best way for me to enjoy it.

Good revisiting of these great characters. I just felt incredibly sad for Rachel's dog, Crunchie, who seemed to take up exactly ZERO space in her thoughts, mind, life, responsibilities. She doesn't deserve sweet Crunchie!

I absolutely adore Marian Keyes. She has been a solid member of my library for over a decade and I have read everything she has written.

This was a warm, comfortable, and nostalgic hug that I needed so badly.

Marian has a wickedly wonderful way of writing that is witty and heartwarming, without being over the top or seemingly trying too hard.

I fell in love with her books when I discovered Sushi For Beginners. The prequel to this book, Rachel’s Holiday, is by far one of my favourite reads and this delicious sequel did not disappoint.

It was so wonderful to escape back into the Walsh’s world and catch up on how everyone is doing. I can not recommend Marian enough. She never fails to put a smile on my face, bring a tear to my eye, or make me laugh out loud.

In closing I will leave you with my favourite, and quite possibly the greatest quote ever to grace my kindle screen…

“I see your leather-clad thighs and I raise you quietly impressive biceps”

It was nice seeing Rachel and Luke again but honestly seemed kinda pointless because the people they got with when they broke up were obviously not going to last as they were pretty unlikeable but I liked seeing Luke and Rachel back together in the final chapters, their moments together bumped this up to a 4 star as I like their relationship, but the rest of the book was very un needed but was fun to read because I like the family.
