I bought this as a bundle on Amazon. The first two, Better World and Legacy Code, were a bit better better paced and I Iiked the protagonists more. Unfortunately, very little happens in Paragon. Tadeo, the main character in this book, spends the entire book brooding and not much else. There is no progress plotwise until the very end and even that resolves nothing. I like series but if I buy a bundle I expect some part of the story to be resolved by the end. At this point too little happened to make me want to keep going to whatever book is next.

Truly fantastic book. Builds on the first in so many ways. Twists are rarely expected, and characters feel like they have their own motivations without reverting to type. If you like dystopian young adult conspiracies, you must read these books.

*I received an ARC from the author, in exchange for an honest review*

From the moment I read the first paragraph of Paragon, up until the last sentence, I was enthralled. Non stop, on edge, exciting action. I honestly couldn't put a fault on this one, I loved all of it, including the song! The Fractured Era series is still up there amongst my favourite novels of the year.

I'm still left curious about one character, and finding it hard to let them go. So I'm rather eager to read #3 to see if there is more to that, and of course the rest of the characters.

More questions than answers. We get bits and pieces of things that happened and things that are happening, but there really isn't a "resolution" to this book, just ends in another cliff hanger, like Legacy Code. POV is third person limited, so we get different scenes from various different characters from the previous book.
