First published in 1907 as Arsene Lupin, Gentleman Burglar, this is an entertaining collection of nine stories that highlight the master of disguise, and his clever and well thought out plans to steal from the wealthy. Reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes, in fact he’s mentioned a few times in the earlier stories and features as a character in the final story “Sherlock Holmes Arrives Too Late”. I enjoyed this small book, a definite fun read.

Unfortunately Lupin was only mentioned once; it was still interesting though.
