I kept hoping that this book would get better as it went along, but I guess I just don't get into this kind of book. The adoption angle fell especially flat to me, but the descriptions of the teachers and other people were also bordering on being offensive. If you are interested in the mean girl angle, Lisa Papademetriou's other book, Accidentally Fabulous, is much better. At least it gives a more realistic picture of the girls involved.

I am really beginning to like James Patterson's writing again. At first, I did want to write it off as a rushed middle school novel, but he really delves deeper into the characters and issues of middle school. I really think kids Georgia's age can relate to the things she did to fit in.

Fun story from the little sister's point of view. Good book for those who are lower level of reading but high interest.

a fun read with a great narrator and illustrations add humor to the story instead of simple depicting it.
