The Sacrifice was super creepy and atmospheric. There were times where I wanted to jump into the book and throttle the film crew. I really enjoy how descriptive Chupeco’s writing is. I truly get transported into each of their stories. I definitely did not see the twist at the end coming and I was sitting with my hand over my mouth multiple times the last few chapters. This was a fun read and I think Chupeco is solidifying themselves as an auto-buy author for me.

Absolutely yes. The mythology in the book and the picture it paints on how outsiders want to Capitalize off other's way of life is perfectly woven into this story. The Mythology of the island is so well thought out. The twist and turns this book takes is amazing. this is a book I wish I could read for the first time again.
