Though there is a large correlation between autistic people and queer people, it's sometimes challenging to find books from that lived experiences. I am grateful to Dale, as a gay autistic trans woman, for putting her story out there to share what those intersections look like for her.

A lot of Dale's personal story is emotionally heavy and tragic, but she ends the book on a positive and hopeful note.

I learnt a lot from this book and consumed it very easily due to the writers lovely and accessible writing style. It taught me of the unique intersections between transness and autism. It was a lovely read that I learnt a lot from.
