Such a cute book! I really enjoyed the premise and the queer representation was lovely as well

The art was beautiful, but maybe because I'm coming off of Heartstopper by Alice Oseman, this story felt underdeveloped. I am also not a fan of white authors writing POC main characters, especially when there seems to be no point for doing so other than to get credit for diversity. Like, we only know the MC is Asian because of her last name, and it is not incorporated into the story or plot at all. So...why?
