This was such a sweet comic! I'm always a sucker for selkie stories and I liked this sweet, endearing twist on the myth. Morgan and Keltie were fantastic characters and the art style was great.

such a sweet little sapphic romance, full of magic and with beautiful charismatic illustrations that felt like warm playful childhood :)

This was really cute, and really joyful, and really sad. But mainly really cute. Kids and teens will adore this book.

Beautiful artwork, messages of being true to yourself, friendships, environmentalism, selkies...there's a lot to like here.

This is was a very sweet queer read that I would have killed for when I was younger. A quick take on the selkie myth with some interesting additions, it handled the difficulties of relationships and growing up and into yourself in a way that I think will really resonate with younger readers. I was alarmed at the drastic action taken towards the end, which doesn't necessarily get treated with the gravity it might have benefitted from, but again for younger readers it works. The ending is bittersweet but hopeful, and I think it is where it should have ended up, that there is growth still to be had on both sides and while there is still a possible future together, they should not stop living in the meantime.
