I wish we got to see more of the development of the boys’ feelings and relationship over time. I also felt like it would’ve been fine ending much earlier than it did. Our Ever After was lovely to read, and Tane-kun is such a sweet and funny addition to the love story. As in a lot of queer manga, the characters need to work on consent.

Our Dining Table is honestly the sweetest thing I have ever read!! I was almost in tears from how soft and warm it was. And right now, I just want to start reading it all over again! 🥺🥰
I think the thing I loved the most was that it focused on how food can bring people together. And the love that can bloom from a simple act of kindness. I also really liked the anxiety rep in this. Both Yutaka and Minoru are so relatable in that respect. I’m giving this a full five stars. If you’re looking for something soft and sweet and heartwarming to read, give this manga a try. You won’t be disappointed!
Moderate: Bullying
Minor: Eating disorder, Emotional abuse, Car accident, Death of parent, and Alcohol
The car accident tag is refers to the off screen death of Yutaka’s parents. The emotional abuse is referring to his adoptive siblings trying to push him out of the family.
