Aiden Teague. I love him. After seeing him in the previous book working undercover and knowing how much of a toll it was taking on him, I was so invested in learning more! This book overlaps some of the events from book two, which I appreciated because we got to see what Aiden was experiencing in those moments. Violet is absolutely a fighter, and I loved watching Aiden empower her—though I can’t lie, it hurt too. Aiden and Violet are a powerhouse couple, and I love them together. And can we talk about that glimpse of Gabe and Jordan towards the end despite how much Gabe seemed to hate her when they first met?! Immediately diving into their book!!

Shamrock
3 Stars

During an undercover mission, Aiden Teague is forced to leave a young woman who is the apparent victim of human traffickers. In the aftermath of her abduction and rescue, Violet Collingwood is determined to never be a victim again. As part of her journey, she sets her sights on Aiden, and has no intention of accepting no for an answer.

Violet is a strong and resilient heroine whose desire to transform her trauma into something positive for her future is very admirable. Aiden is a sexy and honorable hero, but his tendency to think that he knows what is best for Violet is arrogant and condescending. Thankfully, she teaches him the error of his ways, and their romance is quite sweet although not as intense as those of the first two couples.

The suspense plot involving human trafficking is disturbing and there are several triggering scenes although Crouch successfully avoids the appalling
Spoilerrape trope
that so many authors mistakenly view as empowering. The villains are suitably menacing, but the identity of the mastermind is obvious from the start.

In sum, this is a well-written book with a good balance between romance and action. The next installment focuses on Jordan Reiss, the town outcast, and Violet's brother, Gabriel. Their acerbic interactions here suggest that their story will be quite stormy.

This is Book #3 in the Linear Tactical series. Love this series!!! Aiden is sweet but would do anything for the woman he loves. Violet knows what she wants and that’s Aiden.

I love the suspense and the romance mixed together. I can not wait to read the next book. I am looking forward to learning more about Jordan.

Agreeing to go undercover in a strip club was supposed to be straightforward. Go in, figure out who this Mr. Stellman is, stop him from achieving his plan and get out. Aiden never thought that he will meet the woman who’ll invade his every thought in the middle of danger.

Violet’s life turned the day she got kidnaped. she tried to hold on to the hope her brother will find her. So when Aiden tells her he’ll be seeing her again, he’ll get her out, it felt too good to be true.

They thought the threat was no longer shadowing them until these shadows took shape and danger got too close.

Aiden and Violet’s story is one about overcoming your demons and facing trauma head on. Betrayal and starting anew.

Violet is a character that gets stronger with the help of her friends and family. She goes after what she wants and it was a pleasure reading her journey. Her relationship with Aiden is so beautiful. The way Aiden almost lost his chance with her and missed the chance to know his soulmate was hard to read, but they worked it out. Thank god. And him stepping back so she could stand on her own shows how much he respected her.

Shamrock-4

This book might trigger people with mentions of human trafficking, sexual assault, violence and trauma. But trust me it’s worth reading.

I enjoyed the relationships between the Linear guys and their girlfriends, and some of the romance/sex scenes were good, but it was a pretty standard story with some obvious twists and turns. The ending was also REALLY abrupt.

Another heart-poundingly exciting story for this series! This couple absolutely blew me away. As far as main characters with a romantic interest go, I couldn't have asked for more than Aiden and Violet. He's a tough, take charge guy with a heart of gold, and Violet is as strong a heroine as I've ever seen. She's been hurt and has the mental scars to prove it, but she's bound and determined not to let it break her. She's certainly not about to let past trauma come between her and her dreams. Aiden did make me want to give him a good shake at one point in the story, even though I did kind of agree with him, but these two are so good together that there is no way to read this book and not be totally won over and rooting for their happiness together. We also get plenty on the suspense side of this tale and there are parts that are hard to read. Those parts don't get too graphic, but they certainly get the heart rate up. Shamrock is part of a series and overlaps somewhat with the previous books, but we get all the info needed to also enjoy it as a standalone. However, once you've gotten to know the wonderful characters of Linear Tactical, you'll want their stories too. Like the rest of the series, this third book is full of steamy romance, edge of your seat action and suspense, all the feels, and truly great characters. This is definitely a must read and I can't wait to see what's next in the series.

I absolutely loved this story!!! It was a fantastic read! The characters were very well written. This book does deal with a hard subject though, sex trafficking. It's not glossed over and it could be a trigger for some because of what it entails. Our heroine is lucky, don't want to say too much more for spoiler reasons. Things are not too graphic in that arena for reasons that make sense once you get into the story. I though that Janie Crouch did a fantastic job dealing with aspect of the story. I loved how both Aiden and Violet handled things afterwards. Aiden was such a great hero to read! I definitely connected to this story and once I started I didn't want to put it down. I loved how things developed in this story and there are definitely a few twists thrown in. I loved getting to see the other characters from the previous book,s and future ones, again. This is a stand alone story though. You can start with this book but the series is soo good, I recommend reading all of them. I can't wait for the next book and that one is set up so that you can pick the next 2 characters that are going to get together.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
