Holly Jackson took the question „if the romance wasn’t part of the book anymore, would there still be a plot?“ way to seriously and the romance is the smallest part of the novel.

But apart of this cute little love side story, this book is filled with great relationships, well developed characters, thrilling events that aren’t far fetched at all and a chapter concept that guarantees a one of a kind reading flow.

Would highly recommend this young adult thriller and already feel exited for the second book!

I actually really liked this book. Maybe I’ll regret giving it 4 stars but anyways… I couldn’t put it down!!
Why not 5 stars? Because it was a little too long for my liking🤷🏻‍♀️ (I think it would’ve been better with 300 pages, not over 400) and because the end of the book was meh.
Spoiler I suspected the best friend’s dad was somehow involved, but Andie’s sister was too forced for me (idk).

Anyways I want to read the second one to see if it’s better but overall it was a really good read.

Fascinating, but perhaps not the genre for me. I don't have any umbridge with the way it was written; rather, I realized that when reading it I don't like the whole premise. The idea of a teenager poking into a murder/suicide investigation and solving it makes me.... uncomfortable. So I will probably not be reading more stuff like that, but if you do like that, then this is probably a great book for you.

If I didn’t finish this book in class, I’d be bawling my eyes out.

No words, only a phenomenal story.

This book has sent me absolutely speechless. As a thriller fan usually I find that plots can be predictable and end up disappointing me. SO I DID NOT EXCEPT THIS ROLLERCOASTER!!!

Pippa was an incredible character and her development and care for her family and friends really made me love her.
At the beginning of the book I thought I was going to have everything figured out right? I thought I knew what was going to happen… but ohhhhhh was I wrong! The twists and turns really gripped me until the last couple of pages.

The writing of the book was really well done and I really enjoyed not only the plot but the way it was written.

Can’t wait to read the next book in the series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
