Never again will I read a book because it pops up on my TikTok FYP. Even 1 star is a generous rating for this book; The plot was in china and I was in Peru looking for it, because WTH was going on, I read the whole book and still don’t know. I couldn’t tell you what was happening if you held me at gun point, the only thing that kept me reading was sheer stubbornness and not wanting to DNF. Safe to say no sequel for me.  Also I hate Benedict with a burning passion.

The writing gave wattpad, the spice scenes weren’t it for me, enjoyed the plot, will continue the series

Clearly enjoyed the book since I read it in one evening! What's not to like? It has intrigue, demons, dragons (drakens), vampires and court intrigue along with plenty of spicy scenese. Can't wait to rad book two!

If you like K.F. Beerne, this is another author to follow ;)
