10/10 horror read. The dread that is built from the prologue to the 1st chapter is exquisite. You know what’s going to happen but how it happens is a surprise.

Fancy seeing you here, gollum...

I enjoyed this. It was tense and creepy. I mainly took away stars because there are a few glaring animal related inaccuracies that really took me out of the story. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys horror though.

Well...if body horror is your thing...then you'll love this! 

For me, I was looking for something "scary" and I guess I personally need to redefine what that means for me. This didn't seem "scary" but it was certainly disturbing and gross. Not specifically BAD or GOOD, just...just pretty nasty. 😅
