This was a “enemies to lovers” story. The small town vibe and constant banter was everything. This book talked about some heavy topics so anyone reading should read the trigger warnings if there’s any. This was another  great read! I can’t wait to read book 2.

I liked this book a whole lot. The tension between Kyle and Ben was delicious; it was so satisfying watching the evolution of their relationship. This romance was definitely not all lighthearted - there was a lot of talk of grief and lost loved ones but let's face it, those moments in life are all too real.

When grieving souls fall in love...

Christina C Jones manages to always find some of the most uncommonly used themes in her stories. Grief is the tie that binds Kyle and Ben’s relationship. However, the road that led to their grief is what makes this romance tug at one’s heartstrings. Highly recommended, beautifully written and packed with emotion.
