A fine anthology of nighttime and sleep-time poems that can be read and re-read within an hour. Some of the poems did not have much of an impact neither in their words, themes or structure, but the poems by Vera Pavlova, J.D. McClatchy and Donald Justice moved me and impressed me by their words and rhythms and now I have more poets to read in the future. Not the most earth-shattering I have ever read, but a fine sampler for those looking for new voices or for those who enjoy night-time reading.

An excellent small book.
Gave me new poets and the calm I needed before my test.

This little anthology was so good I wished it had been a bit longer. But it grew out of publisher Knopf's commemoration of National Poetry Month in April, with a poem emailed to subscribers every day. Excellent reading for when you can't sleep, and you can always follow up on the poets and read more of their work.
