A really good volume. I loved the plan Konekomaru and Suguro came up with to complete the assignment. It broke my heart seeing Rin's friends disown him once the learn the truth, especially since he still cared about them and only reveled himself because he didn't want to lie. The whole council/trial thing was boring because it's nothing new. People say he's dangerous, blah blah blah, but some say he could be useful, blah blah blah, they let him free under supervision. I did enjoy seeing Shura and Yukio square off, it was really refreshing (though I still don't like Shura, #sorrynotsorry). A solid volume filled with action that I enjoyed.

The plot is very driven and Rin is a phenomenal main character. He is actually trying to become a better person and he is. The relationships in this series are very well-written and they are explained. This series overall is my first manga and it had fulfilled every expectation.
