Honestly, I didnt know HOW to quote that prequel because it is what it is. It's a prologue putting in place the characters, explaining who they're and how they arrived where they are. A brief view on their past life.
It's not "omg what an awesome book it was". It's good, great explaining, and a large view on what we could expecting maybe for the future.
I'm jumping in that serie hoping to love it as much as I loved the others books from this author.

Prequel to Toby Wise’s Collection of Strays series.
Sweet and quick introduction to the series & characters told in journal entry style. I like the found family and variety of shifter species. Obviously, it’s intended to be light on the details, but definitely enough to have me interested in continuing the series.

Esta historia atrapó totalmente mi atención. La idea del diario y de poder conocerlos poco a poco me ENCANTÓ, ahora so quiero comenzar con la historia de Dakota y saber qué es lo que Lady Destino tiene para él

Each story looked extremely interesting, it's a good way to see a brief introduction about everyone. Can't wait to read their books.

This is a prologue but I already read the main books. However I am actually glad I didn’t read this first because there are many spoilers in this prologue.
I am happy I read this after reading the main books because it got me all the good feelings knowing what these people have been through and that all of them get there HEA.
A few moments in this even got me tear up a little. I just love these characters dearly.
I just love that Toby Wise is such a master in delivering wholesome feelings through his stories. Here is a quote I love.
„I‘m learning that family is so much more than who we’re related to by blood.“
I also liked that he wrote it in a diary style and each character got their own dairy entry.
