Marvel has me so well-trained that I just automatically pick up and purchase anything that says Black Widow without checking out in what context it is in or who writes it. This one-shot is somehow tied to Marvel's Avengers video game and serves as somewhat a prequel to The Avengers. For the most part, I enjoyed it. I like seeing Natasha and Nick Fury together, and I love a classic Marvel fake out. The artwork is not remarkable at all, and I can always tell when men are writing Natasha because it seems a little more cliché. Still, I had fun. If you happen to visit your local comic bookstore (WITH A MASK ON), I highly suggest you check this one-shot out!
