These poor guys. But I love them so much. They are absolutely amazing, and I'm in love with all the characters. Even the girl I wasn't sure about in the first book. I love how the band and other people look out for each other and admit to their mistakes if they make any, and also it's pretty great to learn more about everyone's backstory. I've wanted to get into given for quite some time now but never got there, because I only ever knew about the anime, but now that I've managed to get my hands on the books I'm just so in love, it's great.
Also amazing illustrations of course, and I really like how emotional everything is and how serious, while at the same time feeling so warm and loving, it makes me feel a lot of stuff. I really like it and can't wait to continue reading now. (Also really amazing bonus chapter, and I love that the thing between Sato and Uenoyama like... happened and then was just immediately forgotten. Curious to see how that goes down...)

why am i rating this so highly maybe because of the memories i have that are associated with given. so i cried when i read it and that's probably because i am very emotionally strung right now but its also such a wonderful story. i adore mafuyu so much and am so glad his past was explored more, the beach short story at the end was what made me cry so clearly i am attached to him. i'm not gonna go on about the memories i think about with given both the series and manga but i'm really happy that my friend introduced it to me because it's one of those stories that is gonna stick with me in both plot, characters and memory.

Esta parte estaba en el anime y aun así creo que aquí se hizo mucho más emocionante que en la animación, las expresiones fueron más fuertes, pero lo que más llega en el anime es la canción igualmente
