The characters are really likable but I prefer a plot driven story. For a murder/mystery this was very slow paced and very predictable.

This book was fun, I liked the dry humor but I did struggle with the British phrases and slang a little bit. Luckily I was reading on my kindle so I could use the dictionary but that was only sometimes helpful. Overall it has a very “knives out” vibe plus ghosts. I meant to read it on Halloween but got delayed by another series.
