DNF @52%

After enjoying the first in this series I was looking forward to this book but it fell completely flat for me. I stopped at 50% because I was bored and I tried to pick it up again but only got to 52% before giving up entirely. The characters have no connection at all, it is all about lust and then sex. I just couldn't force myself to get through this.

Its a hit

I loved Nick! I usually like a dual POV but found myself turning page after page! I kept trying to read Harper to see how she felt about Nick! The plot was awesome and the story of these two was a great balance of flirty, sexy and real! The intimacy was so hot and fulfilling! This is a definite must read! Loved it and can't wait for Nicks story!

4,5 Orgasmic Stars!!

Wow!! Is it HOT in here or what??

Fantastic light read about forbidden love to his best friend's sister. And  since it was a book told from the point of view of a guy (which was a cool change from most of the books that I have read) you will find here a lot of sex for sure ;)

Oh what I would not give to meet a guy like Nick. Smart handsome tattooed monogamous, who loves sex and at the same time not forgetting that he is't alone in the bedroom.

"Giving a women a sheet-grabbing, toe-curling, mind-blowing orgasm is pretty much the Best Thing Ever."

Thing that makes me  wonder after reading this book is:

Do men so often fantasize about women?

I do not know .. Probably yes?

Maybe we will never know but it is good to read such a book once in a while. Brings some answers to the question: What is he thinking right now?

So, tkank you Lauren Blakely :)

Story of Harper Holiday and Nick Hammer

I really enjoyed this book.

I started reading Lauren’s books in her new releases and love her writing style, so I have gone back to the beginning of her back list.

This book was very whitty, had me laughing out loud a few times. Loved their relationship development!

Highly recommend this one.

Stayed up way too late reading this guilty pleasure. I picked it cause of the name and it captured me with its humor and sweetness. Such a fun, sexy, romantic book...start to finish in a few hours. Enjoyed every minute. I loved that it was all from the man's POV...he was a charming leading man.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the geek from art class? You know the one who sat in the back of class and spent more time day doodling instead of dating? Do you think he died a lonely existence with just his thoughts and his...hand drawings to keep him company?

What if that geek instead became famous drawing a comic strip, one where the hero satisfied hundreds, no, thousands of women?  Yes, that very geek is the famous Mister O.

Nick Hammer has the perfect job. He is Mister O, technically he draws the comic strip turned animated TV short revolving around the incredible Mister O's life, but that is just a minor detail. Yes, Nick Hammer, is living the perfect life.

Well, it was perfect right up until the moment his best friend's sister, Harper Holiday, asked him for a no strings attached, teach her how to have a fling, let her hair down affair.

Uh, no problem. Right?

One teeny, tiny, giant problem. When did Harper suddenly become insanely hot?

I loved this story told entirely from Nick's POV. A man who thinks his life is fantastic, and let's face it, on paper it is, if you ask just about any warm blooded male, but when Nick meets a woman who finally gets his creative juices flowing...could it be the end of Mister O?

The story is funny, endearing and one to add to your must reads.
