“I’m lonely but I’m not alone. My body works, my brain works, I’m alive. It’s a good life. I have to make a conscious effort to remember that. To choose to be happy every day. If I didn’t, I think my own pain would’ve killed me a long time ago.”

Juliette is still reeling from Warner's betrayal, and Kenji is trying to balance his friendship with her with his responsibilities as a leader of the resistance against the Reestablishment. Things get even more interesting when an unexpected person from Omega Point’s past surfaces.

This novella was from Kenji's POV and that both made me and broke me. Seeing all of his inner feelings be brought out and how vulnerable he was with Nazeera undid me. Everything Kenji felt was so hard-hitting if you take into account how he's been portrayed up until this point. I'm so excited to see how his friendship with Aaron will develop, how his relationship with Nazeera will bloom and how even stronger his bond with Juliette will become. Definitely my favourite novella yet!

What the actual fuck. I’m so confused and I simply must read what happens next!
Loved this novella, loved Kenji’s POV. Loved the incredible character development we got from him throughout these 7 chapters and simultaneously experiencing Aaron and Juliette through Kenji’s thoughts.
Nazeera and Kenji are a massive thumbs up from me, more of that please.
Kenji is an extremely empathetic person and that makes my heart so full. I love him so much. He has LAYERS.
Ending was a twist I didn’t see coming after Restore Me and I look forward to reading the next oneeeeee!
Satisfactory ending? Yes!!
