The Other Couple is a clever little domestic thriller with a few twists and turns along the way. The chapters are written from the characters' points of view which I like, and the story moved at a gripping pace. Towards the end I had trouble putting it down as I was desperate to find out what was going to happen next. A very enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

Book Review: The Other Couple by Cathryn Grant ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wasn’t too excited about this book. I felt that it was a little too predictable for a thriller and didn’t really have the thriller aspect of an edge of your seat read. The writing is good, but I just don’t think this was the book for me. #bookreview #bookworm #bookaddict #bookrecommendation #bookrecommendations #booksofinstagram #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #readersofinstagram #bookishbounds #theothercouple #cathryngrant #thriller #crime #murder #thrillerbooks #thrillerbooksaddict #bookreader #booklover #booknerd @jasonpinter

Blimey, I need to catch my breath!
It started well, had a slow blip towards the middle, then a WILD ride right through to the last word.
So gripping, twisty, a few little WTF moments and THAT ending!
So so good. Read it, thank me later!

This book came straight from the psych thriller category, with a jacket blurb that was incredibly intriguing. Unfortunately, after turning the final page and closing the cover, I am to unequivocally state that this was neither a thriller nor intriguing. Instead, this tome was flat and slow, featured an entire cast of wholly unlikable characters and held no secrets, surprises or twists to make it worth finishing the read. It was average in every sense of the word. Seriously. I wouldn’t bother.

This book is unreadable. terrible plot, ridiculous characters. Chapters alternate between 4 characters and I cannot distinguish the voice for each and have to keep flipping back to see which character is speaking. Only 25% in but I won’t waste any more time on this book.
