It was okay, I just thought that it didn’t really give time to elaborate on anything. The first chapter made me laugh bc of how pointless it was, the main character barely reacted to essentially getting stood up at the altar and it’s never talked about again other than a brief mention of the money she was left.

The story line was cute, but I don’t think anything was fact checked. Also the writing was not the best. There were multiple parts where the sentences didn’t make sense.

Though the premise of this book was interesting it was not executed well. I didn't find the characters interesting or compelling and the confrontation with the outlaws was rather anticlimactic.

3.5. There are some really enjoyable elements to this story. However, some of the husband's backstory is a little bit too deep to be glossed over in a novella of this length.
