Tiffinie Helmer hit it out of the park with Death Cache. I really enjoyed the twists and turns this book took. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I laughed, got ticked off and had a few moments of teary-eyedness. Tern is an amazing female character that doesn't take crap from anyone so when she is sent on a trip with her best friend and four ex-boyfriends she only hesitates for a moment. Through out the book as things go from crazy, sexual and down-right scary, Tern keeps her head and tries to figure everything out before the people she cares about get killed. Gage is a sexy male character that has the wrong views of love and made a few mistakes he regrets and a few he doesn't. He is level headed and when things get rough he keeps a clear head, most of time. The book keeps you guessing and you entranced as you try to figure everything out before it ends.

This was my least favorite in the series. I wanted to like it, but I figured out who the killer was before anyone had even died so it sorta took the fun out of it. I was annoyed that it took so long for the characters to figure it out because there were SO MANY clues. I think a lot of the hiking could have been be cropped out and we could have gotten a little more of an epilogue and background on the killer at the end to tie up the loose ends. I didn’t like the hero at all in this one... he was kinda mean and there wasn’t really any redemption for him
