I listened to the audio while reading the ebook ...

The way Holly's mind works ... I can absolutely appreciate it. The details, the descriptions ... it was a beauty! I literally felt like I was there, or like a movie was literally playing right before my eyes.

The only thing I wish was that the POVs were easily distinguishable, but they were truly so amazing to have. I loved the inside look into their minds.

This would definitely be a re-read, along with the audio. The narrator did amazing!

The only real character that grows, if you can call it that, is Aurora and her learning that romantic love is okay. But it is really rushed, as is the ending. That being said, it is enjoyable, although some of the people in her court got a bit confusing for me to follow.

You might not be quite who you were when you lost the power of flight.
But it is only in having your wings resting heavy on your back again that you realize you always and forever belonged to the sky.
You were always strong and fierce and full of magic.
Even when you were stranded on the ground.
