There were zero content warnings  about the graphic and honestly disturbing sexual descriptions in this book. I tried to bypass the first few thinking it would get better, but they started showing up several times per chapter. The author uses the expression f-ing throughout, which is excessively vulgar. I wish I had a heads up before beginning this book. The premise is so intriguing, but the content is offensive.

This is by far the best book I've read from CoHo.

Extremely tense and yet so captivating tale that I just couldn't put it down. Only 4 stars because I'd never rate a CoHo book 5 stars but this truly was incredibly.

I will admit, at first I wasn't very sure about it, but once we got into reading the manuscript I was completely engrossed, obsessed with finding out about what really happens.

The downside to this book, was the sexual content. It was every so 10 pages, sometimes even less than that. I really don't think it was nessecery and kind of ruined the book slightly for me. That kind of detail and consitancy was definetely not needed but overall, a very good book however disturbing it was. At times I had to put the book down because it got upsetting (see content warnings) but I would definetely recommend reading if you like mystery and suspense novels. Sent chills down my spine.

I did not find the ending of this book satisfying. I only mildly enjoyed the rest of the book, but the ending really did not leave me feeling like my time was worth spending on this book. The characters were slightly intriguing, but weren’t super deep.
