Jessie and Drew hate each other and now they’re living together because of construction at Jessie’s house.

This is a typical enemies to lovers romance. However, I’m not a fan of Jessie. I think she’s absolutely unreasonable for a lot of the book. It makes sense if she doesn’t want to get close to someone, but she hates Drew for basically no reason.

Jessie also “pranks” Drew in front of all of his colleagues and absolutely humiliates him. Before that she was just annoying but that really crossed a line to me. He didn’t ever do anything like that to her.

Drew really carried this book and was way better to Jessie than she ever was to him.

I really didn't like the first book, so I was a bit hesitant at the start of this one but I'm so glad I pulled through!

Drew and Jessie's relationship developed so beautifully and especially Jessie's POV's made this so much more than your typical enemies-to-lovers.

They had pranks, they had fights, they had cuddles and kisses, it was something of everything and at the end I was just constantly "aww-ing" 🥰
