This was my 3rd Sarah Adams book and after absolutely loving the previous two, this one let me down a little. I didn't feel the pure joy in normally feel when reading her books.
Honestly, I'm really starting to think that enemies to lovers just isn't my favorite romance trope, sometimes the hate just gets to be too much. I enjoyed Jessie and Drew's banter but Jessie took her "hate" and the prank war way too far to the point I thought she was just being cruel.
I liked Jessie a lot more when she let down her walls and I really enjoyed the ending, but that wasn't enough to save the whole book for me.
