Nice bit of nostalgia. I suspect it was a little old fashioned already when it was bought for me in the late 80's. Decided to give it a reread and discovered some themes will always hold true such as finding a craft that brings pleasure and relaxation along with the idea that playing with your kids is more important than housework. She also inspired me to look up laundry starch and I bought some for my duvets except now you put it in your washing machine. Can see why it has gone out of print but could be developed for the modern market Una!
