such a rollercoaster, not all problems were sovled but that just puts more suspense. second time reading it and it was still as exhilarating as the first time.

The first book of this series for me was not amazingly well written but it had that little spark of something that made me keep reading the series. In this book, oh my goodness! The writing so much cleaner! One of the best parts of this series is that there is a plot and the plot is good and interesting, but also there are tons of scraps of world-building scattered around that aren’t directly plot-relevant (e.g. the Christmas battle, the parties at the Hotel) and yet are utterly captivating and some of my favourite moments.
