This is my first gay mystery book I´ve ever read. I have to say it is very engaging and most of the time I couldn´t stop reading.
I liked that the sex-scenes (though brief, but hot) didn´t take over the story and the crime that had to be solved was still the main focus.
The chemistry between David and Chris is great, even though I didn´t really buy the fast progression their relationship took.
All in all I enjoyed L.A. heart very much and I will definitely read more books written by P.A. Brown.
