A collection of reminiscences, which bounce around in time and thus come across as disjointed. Still, I enjoyed it. It was worth reading if only to find out that once upon a time, Reiner's commanding officer in the Army was Allen Ludden.

A charming collection of stories pulled from the vault of Carl Reiner's memory. I listened to this book on audio which made it especially enjoyable. You can even hear Reiner flipping pages as he reads you his stories. This memoir is filled with tales of his personal life and his career. We hear a lot about his three kids Rob, Annie and Lucas and his wife Estelle and about friends like Mel Brooks. Some stories were touching, others heart breaking but most are just hilarious. Reiner is an excellent story teller. My favorite stories were about Reiner's dad, his wife Estelle and his kids but my number one pick from the whole collection is the roll-on-the-floor-laughing story about Reiner working with actress Shelley Winters. It's worth the price of admission alone.

Stories that didn’t make it into the previous memoir. Some are lovely, some are a little rambling. I just loved listening to Reiner read this.
