This series had me hooked from book one ( it was a free download on amazon).
I loved part 1 so much so that I stumbled across the whole series in one , I took a chance and I had to get it. I was not at all disappointed with each book as they were increasingly addictive. I found these books very very hard to put down,so much so I read them all one after the other in one sitting. I can't wait for any further installments if this series.

I love vampire books so I had high hopes for this and it left me somewhere between "meh" and 'I want to slap all the characters except Luke'. Chloe had no depth and she didn't grow as a character. Even at the end (which was a year from when the books start), she still throws a tantrum. Looks like there is an actual series of books that follows this, but I'm not interested in reading them.

A colleague at work recommended this author, so I looked her up and found collection of The Arcadia Fall Collection. Once I realized there was a prequel collection I wanted to read that first. All that being said, I'm glad I did! This was a great read and easy to follow and kept me going. Definitely going to thank my colleague for recommending it. I feel this collection provides a good background to explain the actions of Chloe in the next collection. I am glad however that this collection was made to include all the parts (1-6). Each part of rather short, similar to chapters in a novel but time passes between each. So I would recommend reading the collection instead of separately.
I am excited to start the next, Arcadia Falls Collection, and hear more about Chloe and see how her am Drew do!

Reading The Vampires hunter's Daughter will not leaving you disappointed in the least, this story constantly keeps you captivated. There is not a dull moment while Chloe is constantly fighting for her life and the others around her. You go on this amazing ride with her and you can't help but to get caught up in all the action and suspense with Chloe. I highly recommend this book to any one who is a Vampire lover.
After Chloe witnesses her mother being murder at the hands of Vampire's, she is swept away by rescuers, one of them being Drew, into a world she never knew existed of Vampire Hunter's. She soon finds out her mother was apart of this world years ago but left to keep Chloe safe. Chloe soon finds out that not only did she come from a blood line of Vampire Hunter's but she also came from the line of Vampire's.
Chloe's father is a Vampire and has set out to capture her at all cost, in fact he is the one responsible for the murder of Chloe's mother. Now Chloe is with her grandfather, Luke, and Drew and is training to be a Vampire Hunter. Now Chloe has her sights set to avenge the death of her mother.
Drew trains Chloe day after day but soon the Vampire's attack and capture Chloe and bring her to live with her father. She soon finds out her father doesn't really want her nor does he care for her, he only wants her for one thing...her blood. Because she has the blood of a vampire and a vampire hunter, she can give a vampire what they most desire but that means her death. She fights to escape before her 16 birthday because its on that day and that day alone can she give him want he wants.
Drew is the one who comes to her rescue again, and she soon finds herself in a love triangle between him and his half brother Gavin. Now she needs not only to try and escape her fathers clutches and keep herself protected but to also decide who it is she really wants to be with.

A collection of six parts which when taken together equal one novel. There is a follow-up to this series titled The Arcadia Falls Chronicles which also consists of six parts.
The protagonist is 15 years old when her mother, a vampire hunter, is killed by minions of her father who is a vampire. The story is a quick and easy read with enough action to keep the reader's interest.

Bad fan fiction
The vampire hunters daughter had a great description and was free so I tried it. The story is a mishmash of young adult romance and every popular vampire book of the last 10 years. There is a love triangle, a war, and quite frankly nothing original. The main character was not interesting in the least. Don't waste your time.

It was good for a quick read but I expected more. I saw all the reviews and saw all the emotion and thought it would be the literary gift of my year. It wasn't.
It was good but not good enough. I feel the character was too ignorant and childish. As the book went on, it got better though, the reason I give it a three.

I read this in preparation for a book Blog Tour that covers what happens after these volumes! And after reading these i am looking forward to reading it!
This is the first of Ms Malone Wright's that i have read, and i really did enjoy them! Not too heavy, good story lines and great writing
The first few volumes were a history of and meeting Chloe, who is The Vampire Hunter's Daughter. They were short enough to fill most blanks and fun enough to read, concentrating on just one main storyline in the volume.
Its refreshing to read a book from the slayers point of view again -vampires have been almost made into acceptable creatures in some books, so its nice to go back to almost the beginning, where they're considered dangerous, evil and powerful and to be stopped!
Each one shows us Chloe growing up as a person and also into her "powers" and her place in the new community that she ends up living in. I'm expecting the next book to be a bit more....more. if that makes sense! As its one entire book and not volumes, i think now the basics have been established, i think we'll have more of Chloe's interactions with Luke, Drew, Gavin and the many others who we didn't see much of. Plus of course, more Vampire Slaying!
I read the entire 6 volumes in 2 days. Which isn't as much as it sounds! Its about 400 pages for the entire volumes.
The benefit of having it in volumes means that there are no "boring" parts. The volume tells its tale, and it ends till the next one! Which generally takes place literally days, weeks or a couple of months after the previous volume. I enjoyed turning every page and reading it, which is why i read it so quickly!
Chloe
But it flowed really well as a story and I'm trying not to give too much of the story away!
if you fancy an easy paranormal read, this would be right up your street!
(book recieved from author in return for honest review)

I...did not like this book, and find myself utterly perplexed by the large number of 5 star reviews. First - this 200 page "book" is actually a 6 part novella. Don't go into it expecting a 6 book series. There are, of course, other books in the series (called Arcadia Falls) but you have to buy them separately. Beyond that, the characters suffer from a serious lack of depth, as does the rest of the story. The premise itself is actually really interesting, but it ends up falling flat. Very, very flat. It also ends more like an introduction and less like the first book in a series. Then again, if 200 pages equals 6 parts, each part would only be about 30-35 pages. And I would imagine that it would be very difficult to build any sort of momentum in that short amount of time.
