Once again the battle continues, with Sanji emerging as a worthy character to join the crew and the action is spectacular.

  • Volume 7 finally reveals some of Sanji's background story and how he got to know Zeff! What both of them went through was just as disturbing and horrifying as in the Netflix show 😢  Despite often not getting along, Zeff and Sanji share a dream - to find the elusive All Blue - and it has brought them together!
  • Meanwhile, the Krieg Pirates are still attacking the Baratie and we see a lot of fights as the cooks try to save their restaurant. The fight scenes aren't my favorite part of the Manga - I'm more into world and characters - but I thought that Gin was an intriguing character. After betraying Sanji in the previous volume, he's now back to finish him off. He regrets that it has happened like this, but as Krieg's right-hand man, he has a job to do.
In the end, he cannot bring himself to kill Sanji, who was the first person to show him any kindness, but he might pay with his life for that as Krieg is furious!
